Christophe Lemaire Spring 2013

Well admit that we love a slim cut versus the boxy shape that some of the more traditional menswear collections show. And we love that with each new season more and more designers are jumping on the bandwagon. But we could not help but be somewhat strangely fascinated by Chrisophe Lemaire's spring 2013 collection. A strange mix of boxy and slim became so very interesting, featuring pleated pants tapered and cuffed with over sized jackets and loose billowy shirts. It took on a whole David Bryne feel, with the big suit look and we loved it!

The Trends: Spring 2013 Menswear

The New Black

The deep blue suit overtook the traditional black on the runway

Floral Prints

What do you say boys, are you ready to wear florals?

Spring 2013 Menswear

Wow, we are absolutely smitten with Spring 2013 Menswear. So much bold color and all over print, it gives us shivers of excitement. So what should you look for when spring arrives next year? Bold bright suits with a slim cut, wallpaper prints, cosby-esq sweaters and subtle printed pants. Oh and ditch your black suit, because deep blue is the new suit to have. Every color imaginable was shown from crimson, citron, pimento, prussian blue and leaf green, so it's sure to be a cheerful spring!  Check out our favorite looks from the runway:

Gucci

Hermes

Paul Smith

Gucci, Hermes and Paul Smith are officially the kings of the bold bright suit. Shown in every color imaginable, it's not longer about single button or double breasted, its how bright is the color!!

Iceberg

We loved the subtle wallpaper prints and bold color-blocking from Topman Designs. But our favorite look was the Cosby inspired sweater paired with mustard pants and bold sky blue loafers.

Jonathan Saunders

Paul and Joe

Paul and Joe showed off a hipsters dream for spring 2013, featuring slim pants cropped and rolled, chunky sweaters and fitted blazers. And don't forget the pants, printed ever so subtly, you don't even notice it at first.

Marc Jacobs

By far one of our favorite collections, Marc Jacobs gave us Gangster Chic for spring. With a sophisticated vintage feel, it's what we hope to see everyone wearing next spring.

Band of Outsiders

Scott Sternberg forwent the traditional runway this season and showed the collection in a window. The installation involved a model, who spent 60 hours on display, changing periodically, all while being live streamed. We loved the casual-ness of the collection, almost with a pajama-like feel to it. And it had a ton of the bold colors and all-over wallpaper prints we loved.
