Only a true genius can mix 1920s Parisian glamour with metropolis and come out with perfection, and Karl Lagerfeld is that genius. For his fall 2011 couture show everything had a dark glistening sci-fi feel to it, all the while keeping true to coco’s image. Featuring blacks, greys and midnight blues, with the occasion mix of white, we felt transported right into film noir. Sigh! And so our love affair with Karl continues.
